We just got a sneak peak at Rebecca Minkoff's inaugural Spring 2011 men's collection Ben Minkoff and can already tell it's the start of something big. Looking to strike lightening twice, Minkoff is leveraging the undeniable success of her women's handbag line by bringing the same functionality and style to fashion-forward men everywhere. Inspired by her grandfather Ben's career as a fighter pilot in World War II, the collection "seamlessly blends heritage and modernity" while weaving a masculine edge through the detailing and hardware that rendered her craft so remarkable. The new label is named after Minkoff's grandfather, but another Ben in Minkoff's life, Ben Shulman, is a business partner and co-designer of the men's collection. The line includes iPad cases, a gym bag, computer bag and cases, a dopp kitt, as well as wallets and belts. In my opinion, the most notable is the Nikky Messenger tote—classic epitomized.
