Last week I went to check out the MiH Jeans Autumn Winter 2011 Collection because they were kind enough to haul it to LA for the West Coast media to see in person. The jeans are amazing and I’m also obsessed with a few of the shirts, including this Drop Waist Shirt in Natural Check print. Some of the items are already in stores and some are coming soon (not soon enough in my opinion). Designer Chloe Lonsdale went simple + classic for this collection, with a muse in a white shirt and blue jeans. “Clean and crisp or butter-soft and worn in. Original washes directly from our denim archive. A beautifully worn leather jacket. A silk shirt. Effortless.”
Think: “December in London. A chill in the air. Sun pouring through the tall windows of the studio. A grainy 1960’s backdrop with a 1970’s vibe. An instinctively British mood.”
I’m still smitten with The Tokyo jeans (which, btw, given my petite stature, hit me right at the ankle) and am super-impressed by the ultra-soft washes available in this range. Also loved the shearling coat and the silk Beau Dress in Chloe print. In the slideshow below, you’ll see some of my favorite shots from the look book:
