D~ What inspired you to launch this new label?

V~ “I was inspired to create a collection that had both function and purpose. I love essential wardrobe items and have always strived for a more European-style wardrobe; a few outfits, all perfect—versatile, luxurious and, of course, comfortable. My love of travel has also inspired the label, and a yearning for a simple and chic way to journey around the globe.”

D~ How does it differ from the original ParkVogel?

V~ “Vogel10 is almost like a successor to ParkVogel. It has a lot in common with the former line, but it is more selected and I am able to offer a better price point because we sell exclusively online.”

D~ Tell us about how Vogel10 works… there are other pieces in the collection that aren’t in the  current ‘Vogel10′… how do you choose those ten pieces?

V~ “The 10 pieces that are chosen each month illustrate the adaptable nature of the full collection. My clothing is really made for layering. With just ten pieces, a variety of outfits can be assembled for a multitude of occasions.”

D~  ”What was your inspiration for the fall color palette?

V~ “Charcoals and slates, heathers and asphalts. Yes! Gray, gray and more gray —a color that I find truly chic and versatile.”

D~  Are there certain styles/cuts that will be repeated for future seasons?

V~ “The built-in-bra cami, basic long sleeve, cashmere cardigans and v-necks are collection staples”.

D~ Which pieces are you wearing most often these days?

V~ “The V silk dress and the ribbed cashmere cardigan, it is the perfect weight for early fall days—and still great for layering in the winter.”
