This isn’t the first time I’ve featured the brand 80%20 in the chic shoe department. They just sent me a pair of Eliotte Wheat—a lace-up with espadrille details and their signature hidden wedge—and I’m in L-O-V-E! (See slideshow for a look at these cool kicks). I’ll be wearing them with skinny jeans and under my favorite maxis. And while I love my Eliottes, there are some other styles that I’m also into. Here are my faves:

And here’s what designer Ce Ce has to say about her latest collex:

Dena ~ What inspired the spring 2012 collex?

Ce Ce ~ “This past year was a world tour! I’ve been to textile villages of rural China, the jungle in the Mexican Yucatan and Mambo Halls of Havana Cuba. So I design with mobility in mind and I ask myself, what shoes will take me on my adventures? I love the way shoes can take a woman across a neighborhood or across the world, there is something very romantic about that.”

Dena ~  Which styles will you be wearing most this season?

Ce Ce ~ “Excited to wear the Yasha wedge—love the fabric, kinda Indonesian tribal print meets American Bandana.”

Dena ~ What other brands/designers are you obsessed with at the moment?

Ce Ce ~ “Carven from Paris—oh I want to wear a mini dress with a trench coat and dress shorts with a blazer.  So chic! Also obsessed with White Mountaineering from Japan. It’s a menswear label with fabulous details.”

Dena ~ What are some of the pieces you’ve purchased to update your wardrobe for spring/summer?

Ce Ce “I’ve purchased a few silk 1970s style blouses—channeling Jerry Hall. And a pair of high-waisted romper shorts—kinda like a 1940 bathing suit bottom, but much sexier from behind. To be worn with the Yasha platforms!”

Dena ~ Which 80%20 style are you wearing today?

Ce Ce “It’s been unusually warm for March—so wearing the Edie open toe loafer and showing off my lavender toenails!”
