Not the least bit surprised that I adore this new line and they have beautiful photography, because Leifsdottir is a sister brand to Anthropologie (owned by URBN). Enough said, right?! Love everything they do.
But I’ll go on and give you some intel about the label, which launched with a clothing line in 2008. The contemporary brand has Scandinavian roots—designed by 40-something Johanna Uurasjarvi, a beautiful blonde from the town of Hamina, on the south coast of Finland. Check out this NYtimes article for interesting tidbits about her inspiration for the current collection, as well as info about her team of designers and they work together to create this line. You can find it at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale’s.
The clothes are cute but it’s the shoes that really get me. I’m obsessed with the styles shown here: Illona, Jenni and Unto, all of which have gorgeous coloring and unique details. Worthy every pretty penny …
