Staying chic is easier said than done when you’re a mother. But with the right bag (and my Ray Bans) I feel stylish, even if I’m schlepping in sweats. Since I’ve become a mom, I’ve tried a lot of diaper bags (and tried turning my regular bags, like my beloved Longchamp, into a diaper bag). I’ve often been disappointed, whether the bag doesn’t hold everything I need or it swallows up my items so I can’t find them). But I finally found a bag that doesn’t make me gag: The Eliza Baby by MARC by Marc Jacobs.
It totally does not look like a diaper bag (yay!) but has lots of outside pockets to hold babas, binkies, and baby toys. It opens wide so you can see everything inside (No more dumping the contents of my bag on to my front porch as I look for my house keys!) I love the soft, wipeable nylon that is way more chic than cheap. In fact, I don’t even mind carrying this bag if I’m going out sans baby. Available at Piperlime.
