A couple of weeks ago I got a facial treatment and complete makeup application from Le Métier De Beauté. Honestly thought about tossing my entire makeup arsenal to restart from scratch, devoted to one brand. Seriously. But as much as I am obsessed with this brand, I know I still have some faves from other brands that I’d probably miss. Anyway, you can consider this a warning that there will be a lot more LMDB posts to come in the Beauty Cabinet. This one is all about lip gloss. I was just going thru my lipsticks and glosses last night, wishing I had a darker hue for fall. I’ve always been a nude lip kind of gal and therefore all of my glosses and lipsticks are in the pale palette of nude-pinks. But I am totally ready to try out some real colors. Lucky for me, a package of Le Métier treats arrived on my doorstep this morning from their lovely PR rep. The berry-hued Uma Paro lip gloss was among the bounty of treats. I love that it’s a deeper color than I normally wear and it’s a gloss so it still feels light and not too dark for daytime. Completely obsessed.
