I’ve been a fan of MAC pretty much as long as I’ve been wearing makeup. When I heard about their new Hey, Sailor! collection, I was instantly intrigued, and when I saw the nautical striped packaging, I was won over in a heartbeat. Lucky for me, I received some samples to try, and I’m happy to report that the products themselves are just as classic and fun as the boxes they come in. Some of my favorite go-to MAC products, like the Eye Shadow and Lipglass, are part of the collection in gorgeous new colors. I tried the Eye Shadow in Barefoot, a deep, shimmery bronze, and Lipglass in Blessedly Rich, which lived up to its name. I also loved the Suntints SPF 20 Liquid Lip Balm, which will no doubt be a staple in my handbag the rest of the summer. But the piece de resistance was the High-Light Powder. Not only was it the perfect complement to my just sun-kissed skin, but it was pressed in a perfectly striped pattern.
