Just slathered this on in preparation for some poolside lounging in Palm Springs. Actually, I’ll probably be in the pool most of the time. But back to the sunscreen. First I started with the Coola spf30 Mineral Face Matte Finish Cucumber. It went on silky + smooth and I loved the lightweight texture. It does make your skin a bit pale and white, but that’s a small price to pay for sun protection. Here’s what they have to say about this formula:
“Broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection while it hydrates your skin with vitamins, antioxidants and repairing extracts like Shea Butter and Borage Seed Oil that target early signs of aging. Soothing organic Cucumber balances skin’s moisture and delivers a refreshing scent. Naturally water-resistant phyto-protectors like Plankton boost SPF protection make this the perfect beach companion. 70% Certified Organic inactives, 95% Natural.”

Then for the rest of the bod, I used a sample pack of the Coola spf30 Total Body Plumeria Moisturizing Sunscreen. Also smooth and lightweight, this concoction is creamier than the face formula thanks to the ultra-moisturizing Camilla Sinesis Liposome Complex. The scent is subtle and nice, a definite plus considering most drugstore brands have less than desirable artificial fragrances. I will absolutely be ordering some of this for our suncare arsenal.
