M·A·C | Surf, Baby! summer collection

Always thrilled when sample packages of M·A·C goodies arrive and sometimes the bounty is more exciting than expected. I requested some specific colors from the new Surf, Baby! collection, that I had a feeling I would love, and my instincts were right! Am totally obsessed with the following items from this cool collex:

MAC ‘Surf, Baby!’ Eyeshadow in Short Shorts, an eye-brightening white-ish ivory hue with a champagne shimmer … it’s my go-to shadow right now [pictured below left]. Here’s what the MAC crew has to say about these shadows: “Summer shades that are right for each and every Surf Baby. A seasonal ode to the world’s hippest culture, this cool collector’s item comes in a hibiscus-emblazoned compact with a M·A·C logo on the lid. Limited edition.”

MAC ‘Surf, Baby!’ Lipstick in Naturally Eccentric, a super-light nude hue that’s probably not for everyone … but I love a nude lip and even with my pale skin tone, I dig it layered under the Surf Baby Suntints and some other glossy faves [pictured below right]. Here’s what MAC has to say about the lipsticks: “Surf-cultured. Shine-right. Boldly floral sun-bright or delicately nude-y, these lipsticks wear their summer stripes with the cool grace of a real surfer dude…”

MAC ‘Surf, Baby!’ Suntints SPF 20 Liquid Lip Balm in Pink Tinge and Lilt of Lily, both of which are ultra- creamy formulas to protect your pucker and provide a hint of color. Layer them over a lipstick for more impact or enjoy the naturally glossy beauty of these balms on their own. I am beyond obsessed with these and will be wearing them all summer long! And here’s what MAC has to say about these amazing little tubes: “Summer’s softest tint and luscious liquid shine. More than pretty. Defends lips against sun, wind and salt. With its M·A·C Surf, Baby! striped vial, and easygoing nature, a must-have. Limited edition.”

Shop this summery collection before it’s gone forever…
