I’m still mourning the loss of Shu Uemura in U.S. department stores and greatly miss walking into their brightly lit boutiques. But at least we still have access to these beautiful goods online. This brand remains one of my all-time favorites and I’m always eager to sample the latest concoctions. The Pure:Nu gentle cleansing oil-in-gel is among my latest Shu obsessions. I’ve been a long-time devotee of the classic cleansing oils but this new oil-in-gel formula was a refreshing change for my skin. Boasting more than 50% moisture agents, this blend is perfectly formulated for my dry skin. The “eco-conception formula” contains bamboo leaf extract to purify, beet extract for skin renewal, and lupin extract to strengthen. It also smells lovely.
