It’s still warm outside, but like many moms, I’ve already got my eye on cold-weather gear for my little one. Thankfully, long before the fall frost sets in, I’ve come across the brand new, New York-based accessories company Cabbages & Kings. The line offers adorable infinity scarves and leg warmers handmade by artisans in Peru. Committed to fair trade, the founder Alexandra Gizela created the mini-accessories in a gorgeous palette of bright colors and patterns when she couldn’t find anything but “scratchy wools and lifeless fleeces” for her own daughter. I know that feeling! Saying goodbye to summer is never easy. But picturing my girl bundled in her new leg warmers and scarf is actually making me look forward to the cool weather!
