Oilily children’s wear | fall 2012 lookbook preview

I give my two-year-old daughter a choice between two different outfits each day. And she inevitably chooses the brighter colored outfit. While I’m more sedate in my style choosing neutrals mostly, my girl loves to look like a Crayola crayon. She has a pair of bright orange Oilily pants that she regularly pulls out of her drawer and says emphatically “On.” Since they’re her faves, I decided to take a sneak peak at the Oilily’s Fall 2012 line and I’m happy to report that color-obsessed children and their parents won’t be disappointed. The Dutch company offers up an autumn wardrobe for girls and boys in their signature candy-bright tones and bold retro-inspired prints. I love the outwear collection, especially the knitted hats and scarves. Even though I totally adore summer, just thinking of my baby girl bundled up in snugly soft brightness makes me start to crave cool weather.
