I’m a fan of minimalist, Euro-styling, for baby and children’s products. The newest kid on the block? Babyhome, a Barcelona, Spain-based baby product manufacturer that offers strollers, cots, chairs, and high chairs. The company launched in the U.S. a few months ago and has won a ton of design awards. While I haven’t had the opportunity to test-drive any of these items, I do appreciate that their products are high-quality, stylish, and actually affordable. Finally, stylish alternatives to the tacky Babies R Us mainstays but with comparable prices.
Take for example, the Dream, Babyhome’s travel cot. So much more stylish than the average “pack and play” and it can even go from being stationary to swinging as a little rocking cot. It comes in a host of home compatible colors such as black, brown, navy, and my fave—sand. The best part is the price: only $299.
My daughter is 23 months and I’m totally thinking about getting Babyhome’s Emotion stroller to replace my heavy jogging stroller. And if we decide to take the plunge with Baby Number 2? I’m totally all over the Dream.
