One of the things I love about having a newborn is being able to snuggle with her in the various baby carriers that I used with my now 3 year old son. Of course, a new baby deserves some of her own gear so in addition to the baby carriers that I already had, some new ones were brought into the mix. Snugli’s fabulous PR firm sent over the Jennifer DeLonge designed baby front carrier in Herringbone print. I’ve been using it since the second week my babe was born (it’s designed for babies 7-26 lbs). It’s actually perfect for SoCal “winter” because the padded fabric provides an extra layer of warmth. And of course I love the simple and stylish grey design. This one has been our on-the-go carrier for the past two months—I keep it in our SUV and make sure it’s tucked away in the stroller when we’re out and about. Most of the time I’m the one doing the wearing but my husband has also used it a few times, which is why I chose the understated and dad-friendly design of the Herringbone fabric. You can also file this one under affordable luxe because it’s priced much lower than most baby carriers.
